Character Counts and Manners Matter

CHARACTER COUNTS!

Character Education focuses on collaborating the New York State Learning Standards with Health, Social Studies and Physical Education curricula, offering related activities teaching students appropriate and socially acceptable conflict resolution skills.  Character Education allows children to practice positive values that help them become positive members of society.  Modeling and practicing appropriate behavior is a pre-cursor for positive values.

MANNERS MATTER!

Social graces and table manners are important additional components to our overall educational program here at Raynor Country Day School.  Our manner-of-the-month features anything from “Please, please cover your sneeze” and proper  “napkin on your lap during lunch” for our younger students to “Tiffany’s Table Manners” and proper place settings for our older students.
